First Cause
Upon reading the Kalam Cosmological argument I was reminded of the analogy "If there was a watch, then there must be a watch maker". The scientific explanation for first cause does not sound as straightforward and intuitive as the watchmaker analogy. Many scientific enquiries end up in counterintuitive conclusions. I private wonder why nobody thinks of a stonemaker for stones or cloudmaker for clouds. First cause might be difficult to understand scientifically, but not impossible.
