Hinduism and atheists
#1
I had earlier posted "do puranas tell history". Hardly 155 viewed the post. My request to my atheists friends is " Please get your facts straight before  criticising ANY religion". People never read the scriptures. They form opinions out of thin air. They have been brain washed by the so called progressive thinkers that their religion is backward. Please ask these progressive thinkers if they have read the scriptures or you will become atheists without substance.
I am sure no one has read the Puranas. In the Agni Purana widow remarriage is permitted, so there is a solution to sati system in Hinduism itself.
I am going to read the Vedas and the Upanishads to know about Hinduism. Once I am sure Hinduism does not address to concerns of humans I will try to point this out
