I am absolutely thrilled to find an Indian atheist site. I never thought I would see the day. Happydance

I was brought up as a materialist since my parents were non-believers. Not aggressively, but just ignoring religion and finding naturalistic explanation for everything.
Second generation atheist, you can say. Never saw any reason to change my mind about existence of god/s.

Hi nastikashiromani!

Welcome to Nirmukta! Interesting to know that you are a second generation atheist. I wonder if you know many people like yourself (Indians I mean)?

Hi donatello.
I am not aware of any second generation Indian atheists.
In fact I don't know a single real atheist among my relatives and friends.

Hopefully you will make some friends here and that won't be the case anymore.

Hi nastikashiromani, welcome to the forums smile

I've met very few second generation atheists, let alone an Indian one! My dad's an atheist, so what does that make me? A 1.5 gen atheist? Big Grin

I hope you have a wonderful time interacting with everyone here.
