Prof. Jerry Coyne of U Chicago has plugged for the course, Introduction to Genetics and Evolution by a former student, Prof. Mohammed Noor of Duke University.

Course page

The course syllabus, seems to cover a lot of background material that may help us take a more rigorous and informed stance on topics discussed here often, such as evolutionary influences on ethics, questions of ethnic differences and shared origins, and questions on the nature of life such as 'How synthetic is a synthetic genome?'
